Every cake from The Cake Box starts with your occasion. Pick one of eleven flavours, whipped cream or buttercream, and a size from a bento cake to 4 pounds. Somia Khalid has baked them in Model Colony since 2023, as Wazirabad's first home-based baker, fresh and finished by hand, one rosette at a time.

How your cake comes together

From bare board to the first slice.

  1. A layer of chocolate fudge sponge on a gold cake board

    Bake

    Soft sponge, baked in the flavour you choose. This one is chocolate fudge.

  2. Two chocolate sponge layers stacked with fudge filling between them

    Fill and stack

    Filling between the layers. A 1 lb cake is two layers of cake with one layer of filling.

    Frost

    A crumb coat to seal it, then a smooth finish in whipped cream or buttercream.

    Decorate

    Rosettes, butterflies, a topper, your theme. Toppers and fondant work are not counted in the cake's weight.

Soft vanilla cake with rich caramel filling, topped with caramel sauce. Rs. 2,200 per lb.

Cookie n cream

Chocolate or vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling and whipped cream frosting. Rs. 2,200 per lb.

KitKat

Chocolate cake with KitKat filling and chocolate frosting, topped with KitKat. Rs. 2,500 per lb.

Cadbury

Rich chocolate cake with Cadbury filling and chocolate frosting. Rs. 2,500 per lb.

Red velvet

Buttery red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and frosting. Rs. 2,500 per lb.

Lemon

Light and moist lemon cake with lemon curd filling and whipped cream frosting. Rs. 2,500 per lb.

Carrot

Spiced carrot cake with cream cheese filling and frosting. Rs. 2,500 per lb.

  • Final dimensions may vary slightly with the design.
  • In-between sizes like 1.5 and 2.5 lb are available. For 1 to 3 people, try a bento cake (Rs. 1,500).
  • Serving estimates are for standard dessert portions and depend on how the cake is sliced.
